Compliance Administrator
Location: Welwyn Garden City (Fully Remote)
Contract: Temporary, 4 Weeks (with potential extension)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £15.38 - £20.51 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Our client, based in Welwyn Garden City, is seeking an experienced Compliance Administrator to support the team in preparation for an upcoming CQC inspection. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised compliance professional who can quickly integrate into the team and work effectively within a regulated environment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of compliance processes, regulatory requirements, and auditing procedures, ideally within the healthcare, care, or NHS sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit a high volume of personnel and compliance files to ensure all required documentation is present, accurate, and up to date.
- Identify missing documentation and proactively follow up with relevant individuals to obtain outstanding information.
- Support the organisation in preparing for a pending CQC inspection.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safer recruitment standards.
- Review compliance records and processes to ensure best practice and adherence to legislation.
- Work efficiently to tight deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve compliance queries.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a Compliance Administrator, Compliance Officer, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of CQC requirements, compliance regulations, and auditing processes.
- Knowledge of Safer Recruitment practices is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working within or alongside the NHS in highly regulated healthcare environments.
- Familiarity with systems such as TRAC or iTrent would be beneficial.
- Understanding of HPAN checks would be advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and experience supporting or leading teams through a CQC inspection is desirable but not essential
