An established and values-driven organisation is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join its HR team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive HR professional to provide expert advice and support across a broad range of employee relations and organisational change activities.
Working within a collaborative HR function, you'll partner with managers across the business to deliver practical HR solutions, support organisational change programmes, and ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters, HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Support organisational change initiatives including restructures, redeployment, redundancy consultations, and TUPE processes.
- Coach and develop managers on performance management, absence management, capability, conduct, and conflict resolution.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and deliver effective people-focused solutions.
- Maintain accurate HR records and management information, producing reports as required.
- Identify and mitigate potential people-related risks, providing practical recommendations to support decision-making.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve wider HR and organisational objectives.
About You
- CIPD qualified, studying towards qualification, or able to demonstrate equivalent HR experience.
- Minimum of three years' experience in a HR Advisor or generalist HR role.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Confident advising and influencing managers at all levels.
- Experienced in managing a varied employee relations caseload.
- Able to work independently whilst contributing positively to a team environment.
- Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
