We're looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Advisor to join our growing team and play a key role in supporting managers and employees across the business. This is a true generalist HR opportunity where no two days are the same. You'll be partnering with leaders across multiple sites, providing expert advice, driving best practice, and helping to create a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

What You'll Be Doing
As our HR Advisor, you'll be at the heart of the business, delivering practical, people-focused HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert day-to-day HR guidance to managers and employees.
- Acting as a trusted advisor, delivering commercially focused and pragmatic HR solutions.
- Coaching and supporting managers through a wide range of employee relations matters, including:
- Performance management and capability
- Absence management
- Disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Workplace investigations
- Occupational health referrals
- HR-related health and safety matters
- Supporting managers with risk assessments and employee wellbeing initiatives.
- Building strong working relationships across multiple branches and sites.
- Providing HR support both remotely and in person.
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding activities to attract and retain great talent.
- Assisting with apprenticeship programmes and employee development initiatives.
- Managing employee transfers and organisational changes.
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Producing HR reports, analysing people data and supporting business decision-making through effective use of Excel.
- Promoting best practice HR processes and contributing to continuous improvement across the wider business.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an approachable, confident and solutions-focused HR professional who enjoys working closely with people and making a tangible difference.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist or similar HR role.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience advising, influencing and coaching managers on employee relations matters.
- A proven track record of handling investigations, disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance cases.
- Experience supporting absence management and occupational health processes.
- Knowledge of health and safety-related HR matters and risk assessments.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The confidence to challenge constructively and influence decision-making where required.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- A practical, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider team.
Experience working within a multi-site, branch-based or operational environment would be highly advantageous.
