Employee Services Administrator
North West Leicestershire | Competitive Salary | Permanent | Full Time | Hybrid Working
Macildowie are working with a well-established organisation in North West Leicestershire to recruit an Employee Services Administrator to join their People team on a permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has gained some exposure to HR or People processes and is looking for a role where they can continue to develop their experience within a large, established organisation.
For this hire, they're really open-minded on background. You don't necessarily need to have worked in a traditional HR Administrator role previously – if you've had exposure to HR, understand the importance of accuracy and confidentiality, and have the right attitude and approach, they'd be keen to hear from you.
Working as part of the wider People team, you'll provide day-to-day administrative support across the employee lifecycle, helping to make sure employees and managers receive an efficient and positive service.
What you'll be doing
-
Supporting administration across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding
-
Preparing contracts, amendments and employee documentation
-
Processing employee changes and payroll information accurately and within deadlines
-
Supporting maternity, paternity and other family leave administration
-
Managing probation review administration
-
Maintaining accurate employee records and HR system data
-
Completing Right to Work checks and supporting wider compliance activity
-
Monitoring the People inbox and responding to day-to-day queries
-
Supporting managers with established People processes
-
Working closely with the wider People team on general HR administration
-
Looking at ways processes could be made simpler, more efficient or automated
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone with some previous exposure to HR or People, but we're genuinely open on what that experience looks like.
You may already be working as an HR Administrator or People Administrator, or you could come from a strong administrative background where you've supported elements of HR and are now looking to build on that experience.
More importantly, you'll be:
-
A real people person who enjoys being part of a team
-
Organised, reliable and comfortable juggling different priorities
-
Naturally accurate with good attention to detail
-
Confident communicating with employees and managers
-
Proactive and happy to get stuck in
-
Comfortable working with systems and handling confidential information
-
Keen to learn and develop within HR
CIPD Level 3 would be beneficial but isn't essential.
