HR & OD Consultant

About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive HR & OD Consultant to join a dynamic team and deliver high-quality, people-focused HR solutions. Reporting to a HR Business Partner, you’ll provide expert advice across the employee lifecycle, supporting organisational development and driving positive change.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional, solution-focused HR advice on areas such as absence management, disciplinary, grievance, recruitment, job evaluation, and organisational change.
- Partner with leaders and managers to embed a coaching culture and develop capability.
- Support the design and implementation of HR strategies and people plans.
- Contribute to key HR projects and initiatives that put people at the heart of the organisation.
- Build strong relationships with managers, employees, and trade unions to maintain positive employee relations.
- Use data and insights to inform decisions and develop creative HR solutions.
- Stay up to date with legislation and best practice, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven HR experience across generalist areas, including employee relations and organisational development.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build credible relationships.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) or willingness to work towards it.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach and commitment to continuous learning.
- Ability to manage a varied workload and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
