I am excited to offer an opportunity for a HR Manager to join my amazing Client in a newly created role. This position will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer, reflecting the central role HR plays in the organisation's culture and commitment to excellent people management. Supported by an HR Assistant, this role is ideal for someone who is purposeful, thoughtful, and adept at engaging with people across various levels of the organisation.
Job Description:
- Support department heads and line managers in resource allocation, career development, and fostering employee wellbeing.
- Engage with employees to invite feedback and work with senior management to implement improvements.
- Manage the organisation’s training and development programmes, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes.
- Oversee payroll, reward schemes, pension scheme, and employee benefits packages in collaboration with the Accounts team.
- Lead change projects, particularly those impacting roles and organisational structure.
- Maintain and update the staff handbook, ensuring policies are implemented and communicated effectively.
- Monitor developments in employment law, making policy recommendations as needed.
- Coordinate disciplinary and grievance processes, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practices.
- Support diversity and inclusion initiatives and contribute to the organisation’s ESG programme.
- Line-manage the HR Assistant, supporting their development within the firm.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Several years of HR experience at a senior level, preferably within a regulated professional services firm.
- Strong understanding of HR disciplines essential for supporting the growth of the organisation.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
- High flexibility and adaptability with a proactive, positive attitude.
- Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness.
