People Advisor – Charity Sector

Day-to-day of the role:
- Act as the first point of contact for Employee Relations (ER) issues, including disciplinary, grievance, sickness, and absence management.
- Coach and guide managers through HR processes, ensuring compliance with best practices.
- Manage ER casework effectively, balancing empathy with organisational needs.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection.
- Collaborate with the wider People Team on projects that enhance employee engagement and wellbeing.
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Employee Relations and handling complex casework.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies and employment law.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience is desirable.
- Experience in the charity or healthcare sector is advantageous.
