Description
- Act as the first point of contact for all employee relations queries
- Lead on complex and sensitive ER casework from start to resolution
- Coach and guide managers on policy, process, and best practice
- Support recruitment activity, including vetting and onboarding
- Contribute to designing and delivering training sessions
- Maintain accurate documentation and case records
- Work closely with the People Manager to identify people-related risks
- Support continuous improvement across HR processes
- Assist with policy updates and compliance requirements
- Provide day-to-day generalist HR advice to employees and managers
Profile
A successful HR Advisor should have:
- Strong experience managing complex ER cases end-to-end
- Confident advising managers and influencing decision-making
- Solid understanding of employment law and HR best practice
- Able to remain calm and objective in sensitive situations
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Organised, detail-focused, and comfortable managing a varied workload
- Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding
- Comfortable delivering or contributing to training
- Tech-savvy, with good HR systems and documentation skills
- Proactive, solutions-driven, and keen to help shape a growing HR function
