Reporting to the Chief Executive you will work together to develop the People Strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Champion a performance-focused culture that is ambitious, fair, and values-led.
- Ability to manage complex ER casework on neurodiversity including reasonable adjustments.
- Management of Sickness Absence and attendance issues.
- Provide advice and guidance on performance management.
- Work with managers to proactively address underperformance before it escalates.
- Equip and coach senior managers to confidently lead performance conversations and address challenges early.
- Lead the development and delivery of training and for senior managers to increase leadership capability.
- Line manage the HR Manager and support their development.
- Lead inclusive and accessible employment practices, especially in relation to neurodiversity and disability.
- Design and deliver internal training to support inclusive management..
- Review and implement HR and site management systems and tools (e.g., absence tracking, performance systems, repairs and maintenance tracking).
- Provide HR Management Information to the Chief Executive.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven HR experience at HR Business Partner level.
- Experience in inclusive employment, particularly disability and neurodiversity.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.
- Skilled in driving performance and supporting managers through coaching and development.
- CIPD Level 7 in Strategic People Management (or equivalent).
- Emotionally intelligent and values-driven.
- Skilled at setting boundaries and solving problems with integrity.
