The Role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Recruitment Advisor. The recruitment team works closely with the wider HR function to deliver a proactive and efficient HR service. Reporting to a Recruitment Manager and working alongside HR Business Partners, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for non-qualified Legal Support roles across their business.
Responsibilities will include
• Deliver a high-quality recruitment and assessment service to a high-volume portfolio of non-qualified vacancies within Legal Support areas across the business, working to agreed KPIs such as direct sourcing, cost, & time to hire.
• Discuss future recruitment plans with key internal stakeholders and advise on the most appropriate recruitment approach, planning ahead to ensure planned start dates can be met.
• Build strong relationships with regular hiring managers and advise on the most effective methods to attract the right calibre of candidates, providing regular updates throughout each recruitment campaign.
• Use a variety of reactive and proactive direct sourcing techniques and conduct daily searches to identify key talent for the firm.
• Find the best legal support candidates across UK offices by developing and delivering attraction and selection campaigns.
• Support and advise the business on appropriate assessment processes, coaching stakeholders on interview best practice where needed and delivering assessment centres and competency- or strength-based interviews.
• Manage the performance of agency suppliers to ensure a strong shortlist of suitably qualified candidates is presented, maintaining effective but efficient relationships.
• Manage the candidate journey throughout the hiring and onboarding process, understanding motivations and expectations and ensuring a positive experience.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in Recruitment and HR to ensure new hires experience a smooth and seamless onboarding process.
• Support the delivery of events and campaigns run by the wider Recruitment team.
The Person
The ideal candidate will be an experienced recruiter, comfortable managing high-volume recruitment and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Previous recruitment experience is important as well as the experience working in a high volume environment, and in-house experience would be advantageous.
• Proven track record recruiting across a wide range of vacancies within a volume recruitment delivery role across multiple sites and disciplines.
• Highly organised, with the ability to plan, manage, and deliver the full recruitment lifecycle from briefing to onboarding.
• Experience of working in-house would be advantageous, with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively with a high volume of hiring managers.
• Experienced in sourcing and engaging suitable candidates and successfully closing offers in a competitive market.
• Evidence of high performance against KPIs in previous recruitment roles.
• Experienced in the use of an applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage vacancies and candidates.
• Good understanding of recruitment processes and practices for authorisation, reward packages, and screening, ensuring adherence to all requirements.
• Good understanding of relevant employment law, data protection, and professional and regulatory requirements relating to recruitment within a legal or professional services environment.
The Salary
Circa £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
The Hours
Full-time, 35 hours per week.
The Location
Bristol-based role with hybrid working (minimum of 1 day per month in the office, with the option for more).
