We're supporting a successful catering and hospitality group to recruit a Head of Human Resources. This is a hands-on, generalist role, leading a small HR team and supporting a diverse workforce across multiple sites.
The Role Lead and develop the HR function, managing a small HR team.

Oversee all HR operations including recruitment, retention, employee relations, learning & development, engagement and compliance.

Drive fast-paced, high-volume recruitment campaigns across multiple sites, ensuring the right people are in place to meet business needs.

Manage employee engagement and retention initiatives, including surveys and feedback programmes.

Provide employment law and best practice advice to managers.

Present HR metrics and insights to senior leadership to inform business decisions.

Lead on HR projects including policy development, the HR manual, and CSR initiatives.
About You

CIPD-qualified (Level 5 or above preferred) with proven experience at HR Manager/Head of HR level.

Strong track record in a fast-paced sector with hourly-paid staff and high levels of recruitment.

Excellent knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.

Experience managing HR teams and delivering across the full HR generalist remit.

Resilient, commercially minded and confident working with senior leadership.

Strong people skills - able to build relationships at all levels and influence effectively.

This role would particularly suit someone with a hospitality, manufacturing, food manufacturing, or care sector background, where there is a constant demand for recruitment due to the nature of the business.
