Employee Relations PartnerColchester - Office Based £40k-£42kWe are looking for a proactive and experienced Employee Relations Partner to provide expert HR support and guidance in a dynamic, multi-site organisation. This role is pivotal in managing complex employee relations cases, coaching managers, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation while promoting fair and consistent people management practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert ER advice to managers and leaders on issues such as discipline, grievance, whistleblowing, capability, absence, change, redundancy, and TUPE.
- Manage high-volume, complex ER casework from all levels of the organisation.
- Review and provide guidance on letters, investigation reports, and written communications.
- Coach managers to balance commercial needs with employment law and best practice.
- Support ACAS early conciliation and employment tribunal cases.
- Analyse ER trends to identify opportunities for policy and process improvements.
- Draft, update, and implement HR policies, procedures, and templates.
- Maintain accurate records and provide reporting on ER trends and case status.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 2 years ER casework experience in an operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) desirable.
