Working on-site 10 days per month, with some travel to London, you will attract a strong salary; this and the full benefits package can be shared on request.As ER Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping culture, behaviours and ways of working through the effective management and resolution of ER activity. You'll take ownership of the full spectrum of cases, ensuring outcomes are timely, fair, commercially sound and aligned to organisational risk appetite.Experience:
- Significant experience managing the full ER lifecycle, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance and capability
- Strong background in supporting change and OD activity
- Deep knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice
- Experience working within high-performance, commercial environments (Financial Services / Tech desirable)
- Exceptional attention to detail, organisation and ability to prioritise under pressure
- Confident communicator, able to coach, influence and challenge senior stakeholders
- Someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and brings a solutions-focused mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a broad range of ER cases (low to high risk) at pace, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution
- Apply a hands-on, end-to-end case management approach with strong risk awareness
- Partner with senior HR leaders to deliver ER frameworks, OD initiatives and change programmes
- Act as the ER lead through change conversations, consultations and restructures
- Drive positive employee relationships, resolve conflict and champion fair, consistent treatment
- Liaise with external legal advisers on tribunal matters, balancing risk and commerciality
- Build manager capability through coaching, training and guidance on ER processes and employment law
- Maintain trusted relationships across HR, leaders and stakeholders to provide proactive, expert ER support
