I am seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join my Client's People & Compliance division. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality HR support across the business, ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations and building strong working relationships across departments. The HR Generalist will work closely with the HR Manager, particularly in handling Employee Relations cases, and will play a vital role in talent development and employee engagement.
Job Purpose:
- Provide support across various HR functions including talent development, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, and compliance.
- Coordinate and support training sessions, inductions, workshops, and development programmes to foster a culture of continuous learning and career development.
- Assist in managing Employee Relations cases such as formal investigations, disciplinary processes, grievances, and performance concerns.
- Support the full recruitment lifecycle, lead onboarding processes, and maintain accurate HR records in compliance with GDPR and internal governance standards.
- Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and industry standards.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing programmes, and coordinate health and safety related HR tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ HR generalist experience in a corporate, fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong passion for talent development, learning, and employee growth.
- Solid understanding of UK Employment Law and ACAS guidelines.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong relationship-building skills at all levels within the organisation.
- Proficiency in HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, and policy application.
- Excellent written skills for drafting formal HR correspondence.
Desirable:
- CIPD Level 5, working towards, or equivalent experience.
- Experience coordinating training and development workshops.
