Tony Alan is delighted to be working exclusively with a highly respected Manchester-based organisation to recruit a L&D Business Partner on a permanent basis. As the L&D Business Partner, you will lead the strategy and delivery of talent development initiatives, with a focus on apprenticeships and professional qualifications. You will oversee the full lifecycle of learning programmes, ensuring apprentices achieve their objectives and employees are supported in their professional development. This role includes managing the Apprenticeship Levy, collaborating with training providers, and ensuring all L&D administration and reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant.
This is a pivotal role, where such duties will include:
- Develop, execute, and oversee structured apprenticeship and early career programmes, delivering measurable outcomes while ensuring compliance.
- Lead the onboarding process, providing a smooth and complete introduction for new employees.
- Build competency frameworks and support continuous employee development
- Report on learning metrics to evaluate programme effectiveness and impact
- Prepare quarterly L&D impact reports, providing actionable insights to drive learning effectiveness
The successful candidate will be an experienced L&D professional, ideally with a background in managing apprenticeship programmes from design through to delivery and evaluation. You will be passionate about developing others and thrive on enabling talent growth. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across the organisation.
