Charity Recruitment is seeking an HR Associate to join an international charity based in the City of London. This temporary role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a global organisation and has the potential to become permanent. The position is hybrid, requiring three days per week in the office, and candidates must be available to start immediately.
As an HR Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the people function within a fast-moving environment. As an HR Associate you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, contracts, HR documentation, and HRIS data. As an HR Associate, you will prepare monthly payroll changes and work closely with Finance and Operations to ensure accurate and timely execution.
As an HR Associate will support compliance activities, including background checks, mandatory training, and documentation management. As an HR Associate, you will lead all operational onboarding logistics for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience by coordinating equipment, system access, documentation, welcome materials, and training schedules.
In this role, the HR Associate will maintain people policies, templates, and internal HR processes. The HR Associate will act as a trusted first point of contact for employee queries across the organisation, providing professional, responsive support. You will also support culture initiatives, values-based activities, and internal communications, contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace.
As an HR Associate will work closely with the Recruitment Manager and hiring managers to schedule interviews, coordinate candidate communications, and ensure a seamless recruitment process. Responsibilities will include posting job advertisements, tracking applications, and supporting fair and equitable hiring practices.
