We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join a proactive HR team and provide expert support on HR casework, policy development, and employee engagement initiatives. This role involves managing sensitive HR matters with empathy and professionalism while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advice and guidance on HR matters, including absence and employee relations, ensuring cases are handled fairly, confidentially, and in line with legal requirements.
- Review and update HR policies and procedures to reflect current legislation and best practice. Promote effective utilisation of these policies across the organisation.
- Assist in reviewing HR resources and identify additional services to enhance support for employees.
- Manage the HR inbox, respond to queries, and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Process financial documentation related to HR activities, including purchase orders and invoices.
- Coordinate HR-related events and awareness campaigns, liaising with internal teams and external providers. Prepare reports to assess engagement and impact.
Person Specification- Degree-level education or equivalent.
- CIPD membership (or working towards).
- Strong HR generalist experience with knowledge of employment law.
- Ability to manage complex HR queries with tact and diplomacy.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and collaborative tools (SharePoint, Teams).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data efficiently.
