The CompanyMy client, a fast paced, service-based organisation entering an exciting period of change, are currently recruiting for an experienced interim Employee Relations Specialist to provide expert ER support during a busy, period of change. This is a key role, offering the opportunity to shape and strengthen their ER approach while helping the business prepare for upcoming employment legislation and organisational change.
The OpportunityAs an ER Specialist, you’ll provide hands-on, pragmatic ER support across the business, working closely with senior leaders and the wider management team. You’ll manage a varied and complex caseload, offering clear, confident guidance and ensuring best practice throughout.Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a full ER caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and complex employee issues
- Supporting the business through periods of organisational change
- Advising leaders on employment law and preparing the organisation for new and upcoming legislation
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide commercially focused, credible ER advice
- Helping to develop and embed robust ER processes and best practice
The Ideal CandidateWe’re looking for a credible and resilient ER professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is confident operating at mid management to senior level.You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in an ER-focused role
- A background in fast-moving, change-driven environments
- Strong employment law knowledge and a proactive approach to legislative change
- The ability to build trust and influence senior leaders
- A tenacious, pragmatic and solutions-focused mindset
- Confidence managing a high-volume, complex caseload
- Experience of TUPE would also be advantageous
