I am pleased to be partnering with a High Growth UK based Insurance business in London who are looking to recruit a Head of HR for their brilliant HR team.
A wonderfully ambitious business in state of the art offices in London who also offer exception benefits and have seen YOY growth of over 20% in their market and are looking to carry on that growth by opening in up to 8 new territories over the next few years.
As such they are looking for a Head of HR to join them reporting to the CPO.
Your duties will include
- Develop and successfully establish scalable HR policies, processes, and systems across the organisation in line with company objectives
- Enhance use of HR MI to support effective and efficient decision-making capability
- Design and implement competitive salary and compensation structures, and ensure appropriate reward management across teams
- Along with the CPO lead OD change initiatives, supporting the wider Leadership Team through their next periods of growth, and deliver successful change
- Make continuous improvements to People operations, including through use of new technology
- In partnership with other Business leaders, develop the overall performance strategy for the business, aligning to overall goals, and be a key champion of high-performance culture which manages performance effectively
- Establish and maintain relevant career and performance pathways,
- Continuously develop and improve people management and leadership capabilities across the organisation, to ensure sustainable growth and performance
- Ensure appropriate and relevant learning and training is delivered to the business
- Work closely with the Head of TA ensuring all recruitment completed well and in a timely manner ensuring you are delivering a best in class TA function
- Develop the EVP and be a leading ambassador of culture within and outside of the company
- Provide expert input to resource planning activities, and develop growth plans with the Senior Leadership Team
- Support the Head of TA with the development of the recruitment strategy, and ensure its delivery through the People team and hiring managers
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, and ensure organisational awareness of inclusive and ethical ways of working
- Act as a subject matter expert in employment law within the business, ensuring compliance and updating the Senior Leadership Team and resolution quickly
- Ensure HR processes and procedures are maintained and improved,
- Ensure overall compliance with all applicable employment legislation and practices
- Line management of the HR team of 3 people
- Act as owner of all People data, ensuring its accuracy and security in line with relevant legislation
Experience Needed
- Strong background in HR Leadership
- Ideally have a background in a FCA or Insurance business
- Have a strong character that will make sensible decisions and have excellent communication skills
- BE able to demonstrate working in a flexible environment where sometimes ambiguity is important
- Have an open door HR policy
