The Role
We are recruiting a People and Systems Coordinator to join a forward-thinking People Operations team within a large, values-led organisation. This is a pivotal role sitting at the heart of HR operations and systems, ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on HR delivery with system and process improvement.
You will act as a trusted first point of contact for people-related queries, ensuring a high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused service. Alongside this, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving HR systems, data integrity, and digital ways of working.
This role suits someone who is highly organised, confident working with HR systems, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end HR operational processes with accuracy and attention to detail
- Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, providing clear and professional guidance
- Administer a wide range of HR activities including recruitment administration, contractual changes, payroll support, right to work checks, DBS processes, and leaver administration
- Maintain and enhance HR systems and case management tools, ensuring data accuracy and GDPR compliance
- Support HR system improvements, upgrades, and implementations, including testing and documentation
- Create and maintain process documentation, user guides, and training materials
- Work collaboratively with Payroll, IT, and wider People teams to support integrated service delivery
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and user experience
About You
- You have solid experience in HR operations within a customer-facing environment
- You are confident using HR systems and enjoy working with data and processes
- You have a strong understanding of GDPR and HR data governance
- You are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
- You communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders at all levels
Essential Requirements
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in HR operations
- Strong HR systems experience (Dayforce or similar HRIS highly desirable)
- Advanced Office 365 skills
