People Operations Manager
Location: London, W1
Hours: Full time, Monday-Friday (hybrid - wed-fri office based)
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000

Our client is global content design studio based in Central London.They are looking for a dynamic People Operations Manager to join their creative team. You will develop and implement strategies to attract, develop, and retain talent while creating an engaging and productive work environment. This role focuses on aligning human resources practices with business objectives to support agency growth.
As a key leader, the People Operations Manager shares insights, manages the team effectively, and uplifts the studio by leading by example. They motivate and engage their team and drive individual and collective success. By keeping up with industry trends and innovations, the People Operations Manager ensures the studio remains competitive, leading to team and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment (preparation of JDs, screening candidates and coordinating interviews), hiring, and onboarding/offboarding processes
- Develop and implement training and professional development programs aligned with agency needs
- Oversee performance review systems and career progression frameworks Maintain employee documentation and HR compliance
- Driving a positive workplace culture with wellness initiatives and team events.
- Providing expert HR support and guidance to leadership and managers; Support and coach line managers with welfare meetings, investigations, and other formal meetings.
- Managing HR admin, payroll updates, and employee documentation.
- Communicating key people updates, policies, and benefits to the global team.
- Attend management meetings and staff briefings to discuss relevant HR issues. Maintaining the office environment
- Working cross-departmentally with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that all operations are aligned with organizational objectives
- Analyzing data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings
- Optimizing workflows and processes to save time and money ? Reporting on operational efficiency and quality standards
- Using strong communication skills to foster a culture of innovation and productivity in the workplace
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Incorporating new technologies, operating systems, and business processes when necessary
- Maintaining service operations with the goal of ensuring sustainability across business operations
- Creating and managing conflict-resolution programs and leading conflict-management practices
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in HR, people operations, or talent management
- Strong understanding of employee development and engagement practices
- Experience with performance management systems
- Knowledge of HR compliance requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Background in implementing HR policies and procedures
- Experience in a creative, agency, or professional services environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HRIS or HR technology implementations ? Background in organizational development
- Understanding of creative or design team dynamics
- Experience with talent analytics and workforce planning
- Knowledge of change management principles
