Reed HR are working alongside an Educational Establishment based in West London who are recruiting for an experienced HR Administrator for initially 6 months.
Based on the responsibilities of this role it does require the postholder to be based full time in the office, but hybrid maybe offered later into the contract.
Summary of the role:
To provide comprehensive HR, Recruitment & Compliance Administrative support across all departments and ensure high quality of HR Service is delivered to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- First point of contact for all HR related queries.
- Actively involved in the full employee lifecycle from recruitment to the end of employment
- Responsible for updating the Single Central Register ensuring compliance with KCSIE guidance and maintain knowledge in this regard.
- Managing recruitment campaigns, this includes consulting recruitment managers, preparing job descriptions and job adverts, advertising vacancies, participating in interview panels and communicating results to shortlisted and unsuccessful candidates.
- Distribute, collate, and record all new starter information in line with Safer Recruitment in Education guidance including references and background checks
- Liaise with IT in relation to new starter account creations and passes for all staff, HE guests and visitors.
- Conducting inductions with new starters and exit interviews with leavers.
- Sending new starters induction training material along with staff handbook and policies and ensure training is completed withing the given timeframe.
- Liaise with Head of HR and Payroll with regards all matters affecting pay
- First point of contact for pension/payroll and absence requests
- Issue and Keep track of training and development across the whole school
- Maintaining employee files in line with data protection regulations on HRIS Cascade
- Provide reports or statistical data
- Assist Head of HR in reviewing and revising HR polices and Staff Handbook in line with changing or new employment legislation
