HR Advisor

We are seeking an HR Advisor to join a great client of ours providing essential support and guidance across a range of HR functions within the a very well established client of ours. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about HR and employee experience, and who possesses a strong foundation in HR practices and employment law.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Deliver generalist HR advisory services to all areas of the business ensuring up-to-date and informed guidance on HR policies, processes, and systems.
- Provide professional advice and support on all areas of HR practice and employee relations, including grievance, disciplinary, performance management, and sickness absence management, escalating complex cases as necessary.
- Support organisation change programmes such as redundancy, restructuring, and TUPE transfers; including document preparation, planning support, and due diligence.
- Participate in the development and delivery of HR policy skills workshops for line managers and HR.
- Assist with the full employee lifecycle and payroll processes, including preparing HR documents and maintaining templates.
- Produce management information reports and evaluate job descriptions, providing advice on salary bandings to ensure consistency and fairness.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Support a range of HR calendar activities and undertake administrative tasks to aid the wider HR Team.
- Assist with the monthly payroll processes and Employment Tribunal activities as required.
- Manage visa and sponsorship applications, ensuring compliance and resolving queries.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in providing generalist HR advice and guidance, with a working knowledge of HR processes and up-to-date employment law.
- Minimum CIPD Level 5 part-qualified or equivalent experience.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle competing priorities effectively.
- Excellent analytical abilities, including the capability to produce reports and manage information.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly in writing.
- Understanding of personal impact on others and a commitment to continuous learning and seeking creative solutions.
