Main duties of the job:
- To assist the Senior Development Manager to develop and deliver high-quality training, advice and guidance to Internal and external organisations.
- To develop, line manage and supervise training staff to ensure high quality training provision to internal and external learners.
- Meet all necessary requirements of awarding bodies for accredited provision and carry out internal verifications and assessments where appropriate.
- Work with other team members to continually evaluate the training programmes offered, working to improve as and where necessary based on regular employer, stakeholder and learner feedback.
- Assist in developing new training programmes and other learning resources.
- To assess learners’ progress using a variety of assessment methods.
- To support the verification process with accrediting bodies for training delivered.
- Identify and adapt to differing learning styles with use of group and 1:2:1 formats, and a variety of training materials and interactive resources delivered face-to-face or virtually.
- Assisting with the preparation and upload of web-based teaching materials and assuring there is a library of resources.
- Positively influence and motivate learners in order to enable them to meet and exceed.
- To ensure that the agency Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
Essential skills include:
- Level 3 Education and Training or equivalent
- Level 3 Leadership/ Management Qualification e.g. ILM or equivalent
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths or English
