About the Role

You will support and guide managers on all aspects of people management, contribute to key HR initiatives, and help drive continuous improvement across policies, processes and engagement.You will also have the opportunity to support wider strategic HR projects, giving you exposure to senior stakeholders and invaluable experience that will support your long-term career progression.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will include, but won't be limited to:
- Building strong, trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Providing clear, confident HR advice to managers and employees on a wide range of people-related matters.
- Managing day-to-day HR queries and guiding managers on best practice.
- Supporting senior HR leaders with employee relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Contributing to the development and updating of HR policies in line with current legislation.
- Supporting processes such as absence management, family-friendly policies, welfare and flexible working.
- Keeping the HRIS and employee data accurate and up to date.
- Coaching and supporting junior team members to build capability across the function.
- Supporting senior HR leaders on organisational change including restructures, reorganisations and culture initiatives.
- Collaborating with colleagues in L&D, Recruitment and People Development to ensure aligned people strategies.
- Analysing HR data and using insight to support decision-making and business performance.
Skills & Experience We're Looking For
- At least 4 years' experience in a generalist HR role (HR Advisor level or equivalent).
- CIPD Level 5 (or working toward it); Level 7 desirable.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and upcoming changes.
- Confident handling ER cases with sound judgement and a calm, measured approach.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment.
- High levels of integrity, professionalism and approachability.
- A positive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for supporting an engaged and high-performing workforce.
