HR Manager

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to deliver comprehensive HR services and lead our HR initiatives. This role is crucial within the Senior Management team, providing support, coaching, and advice to Directors and staff. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of large company experience with a small business hands-on approach, demonstrating resilience, integrity, and confidentiality in all HR functions.
Job Purpose:
- Provide balanced, commercially aware, and legally compliant HR guidance to the Management team.
- Manage and monitor key HR metrics, delivering insightful reports to the management team and Directors.
- Handle disciplinary and grievance procedures, and manage all other employee relations issues with tact and legal compliance.
- Maintain and update HR documentation such as contracts and job descriptions.
- Coach and develop managers and their teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Oversee the HR and management training agenda, identifying and addressing areas for development.
- Manage recruitment activities, from creating job adverts to organising induction training for new hires.
- Administer maternity, paternity leave, and flexible working requests.
- Develop and manage the company's benefits program, advising employees on available benefits.
- Implement and annually update the HR Plan in alignment with the strategic aims of the organization.
- Stay updated with legal developments, advising on compliance and risk management.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure fair and consistent staff management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar managerial role.
- Strong understanding of employment law and compliance requirements.
- Experience in managing HR projects and implementing HR systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in using HR software and online portals.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
