I am seeking an experienced Interim People & Culture Advisor for a renowned charity based in Stratford, East London, for a 12 month maternity cover. The role will pay a salary of £41,242 to £46,783 per year depending upon experience and would be a full time role with hybrid working (2 days per week in the office). Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the ideal candidate will: -
- Be available to start in early May 2026
- Provide first line support and employee data to managers on all aspects of employment practices and procedures, including terms and conditions of employment, sickness absence and performance management
- Support on the review and update of the organisations policies and procedures based on learnings we have gathered alongside People & Culture BP and Talent Development colleagues
- Produce regular reports to provide meaningful data insights and support policy improvements
- Maintain key external stakeholder relationships such as occupational health, HR systems (cascade), e-Acru and pension providers ensuring the needs of the organisation are met
- Advise managers on the appropriate employee legislation and best practice action to take under such procedures
- Conduct and record exit interview data, share learning with the People and Talent team and lead on process improvements based on that data
- Manage the People & Culture Officers, and provide cover and support for them as needed
- Oversee all the onboarding and right to work checks for new starters, this includes DBS checks and new starter HR inductions as undertaken by the People & Culture Officers
