Your new companyOur client is seeking a People Operations Team Leader to join their small but friendly team near Basildon, to help manage the HR Shared Service system. Our client is a Housing Organisation with over 4,000 staff members based throughout the region. - Leading, coaching, and developing a small team, ensuring a consistently high standard of service.
- Overseeing people-related queries and supporting your team with more complex issues.
- Providing second-line HR advice to colleagues and managers, helping them navigate policies and processes confidently.
- Managing a caseload of employment-related queries and identifying opportunities to drive improvements.
- Using data and workload metrics to plan resources, monitor SLAs, identify trends, and improve service delivery.
- Acting as the key connector between People Operations, People Relations, and Strategic Partnering teams.
What you'll need to succeed
- Ideally CIPD Level 5 Qualified
- HR Shared Service experience
- Experience advising managers on HR matters
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Experience using HR systems and improving processes
What you'll get in return
- £43,000 salary per annum
- Hybrid working (3 days a week on site)
- 35 hours per week (9am-5pm)
- On-site parking
