This role is based in Leeds city centre, however it is a hybrid working model with only 1-2 days per week required in the office.
Description
- Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across a wide range of people matters.
- Manage employee relations casework including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance issues.
- Support managers through probation processes, performance improvement plans and informal/formal people processes.
- Advise on employment law, HR best practice and organisational policies, ensuring fair and consistent application.
- Support recruitment activity including advising managers, shortlisting, interviewing and onboarding.
- Assist with workforce and resource planning discussions at a practical level.
- Support organisational change activity, including restructures and team changes, from a people perspective.
- Contribute to the review and development of HR policies, procedures and guidance.
- Promote equality, diversity and inclusion across all HR activity.
- Support learning and development initiatives and signpost managers to appropriate development solutions.
- Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to deliver a consistent, high-quality HR service
Profile
A successful HR Business Partner should have:
- Proven experience in a similar Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partnering role.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience managing employee relations cases and providing sound HR advice.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing HR strategies.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with working in the not-for-profit sector is desirable.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary between £41,000 and £43,000 per annum.
