HR Officer
£35,000 per annum

Home-based (with travel) - Must be based within Manchester or the West Midlands
Assure Personnel are recruiting on behalf of our client for this role. As an HR Officer, you will be a vital part of the HR team, working alongside HRBPs to implement the "People Plan." You'll ensure the business remains safe, compliant, and effective while providing direct support and coaching to line managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Strategy: Help deliver HR initiatives that enable the business to meet its objectives.
- Policy & Compliance: Embed HR policies, ensuring the business stays consistent and up-to-date with the latest legislation.
- Project Lead: Take charge of HR projects, change initiatives, and TUPE transfers.
- Reporting: Produce and analyse HR data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Relationship Management: Build strong links with internal teams, law firms, and external stakeholders.
- Case Management: Manage HR cases and trackers, reviewing investigation reports and highlighting any risks to senior leadership.
- Upskilling: Lead inductions, HR clinics, and coaching sessions to empower line managers.
- Operational Support: Attend manager meetings and proactively engage with teams to resolve HR issues early.
- Compliance: Oversee Right to Work (RTW) and sponsorship processes.
What You'll Need
- Qualifications: CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience: Proven background in generalist HR advising and drafting HR documentation.
- Qualities: A tenacious approach to hitting goals, excellent communication skills, and a sharp eye for detail.
- Bonus: Experience line managing a team of HR Advisors is a plus.
