Temporary HR Employee Relations Specialist
Location: Hybrid / On-site (as required)
Rate: £30 per hour
Contract: Temporary assignment
We are currently seeking an experienced HR Employee Relations Specialist to join a busy HR function on a temporary basis. This role will focus exclusively on managing and advising on employee relations cases, providing expert guidance to managers and employees across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full range of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance, capability and misconduct matters
- Provide clear, pragmatic HR advice to managers in line with employment legislation, internal policies and best practice
- Lead on complex and sensitive ER issues, ensuring fair, consistent and timely case resolution
- Support and coach managers through formal processes, including attending hearings and meetings
- Prepare accurate documentation, reports and correspondence related to ER cases
- Ensure all ER activity is handled professionally, confidentially and in compliance with UK employment law
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in a dedicated HR Employee Relations role
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
- Confident in independently managing high-volume and complex ER casework
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
- CIPD qualification or equivalent experience (desirable)
