HR Business Partner (ER Specialist)

Reed HR havepartnered with a fantastic company who are seeking a skilled HR Business Partner to support the managers in delivering improved people performance across all metrics. This role requires a deep understanding of business operations and the ability to manage complex HR issues with an operational and strategic approach.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Create and provide accurate, optimised, and relevant reporting to managers using T&A/HRIS systems.
- Ensure all system users are trained and proficient in using the systems.
- Personally oversee complex grievance and disciplinary matters where there is significant risk to the business.
- Support the communication process across the site.
- Ensure that People Coordinators have regular reviews, clear goals, and objectives with defined development plans.
- Manage OH Case Management in conjunction with the Occupational Health Nurse.
- Coach and guide the team and managers on resolving people issues.
- Develop managers to enable them to manage their teams effectively through coaching, one-to-one development sessions, and group learning in areas such as performance management, attendance, disciplinary and grievance, and managing diverse teams.
- Define and document end-to-end administration processes to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Analyse data on absence and sickness, identifying trends and making relevant recommendations to the business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum CIPD Level 5 Qualified or Qualified by Experience in a similar industry handling high volumes of work and ER cases.
- Experience in a Manufacturing, Retail, Hospitality, or other fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing, coaching, and developing a team of People Professionals.
- Proven experience in coaching/training managers in employment relations related skills, e.g., disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance management.
- Ability to create reports from system extracted data.
- Competence in Microsoft Office products and similar systems.
- UK Employment Law knowledge, with demonstrable experience of current developments.
- Skilled and confident communicator with excellent verbal and written English skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust within management teams and the gravitas to confidently advise them.
