HR Manager – Hands-On Role in a Fast-Paced Manufacturing Environment
We’re looking for a confident, hands-on HR Manager to take full ownership of the HR function and team. You’ll be the visible HR lead for a busy manufacturing operation, supporting managers, driving engagement and shaping a culture where people can perform at their best.
This is a full-time, permanent, site-based role at the heart of the operation. And best suited to a HR lead who loves being at the centre of the action
What You’ll Be Doing
- Champion engagement and help strengthen a positive, inclusive culture
- Coach managers to build capability and confidence in people leadership
- Provide expert guidance on ER, policy, best practice and employment law
- Support development, succession and retention across all departments
- Lead complex ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances and appeals
- Use HR data and insights to identify trends and drive improvements
- Deliver training and development sessions across the site
- Lead and contribute to HR projects, restructures and wider change activity
What You’ll Bring
- Broad HR generalist experience: manufacturing/FMCG exposure is a real advantage
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
- Strong Excel and IT capability
- A proactive, flexible, solutions-focused approach
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
