What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be the first point of contact for managers across the business, providing expert guidance on a wide range of people matters, including:
- Managing complex ER cases end-to-end — disciplinary, grievance, performance, capability, attendance and conduct
- Coaching managers to build their confidence and capability in handling people issues
- Supporting recruitment activity to ensure timely and effective hiring
- Leading on key HR processes such as performance reviews, salary reviews and probation management
- Delivering inductions, exit interviews and training sessions
- Acting as a subject matter expert for the HRIS (ideally Workday), ensuring accurate and timely updates
- Contributing to change management activity, restructures and consultation processes
- Mentoring junior HR colleagues and sharing best practice
- Providing pragmatic, commercially aware HR advice that supports business goals

What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who is confident, credible and comfortable working in a dynamic, commercially driven environment. You’ll need:
- Proven experience managing complex and sensitive ER cases independently
- Strong generalist HR experience across recruitment, performance, attendance, disciplinary and grievance
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
- Excellent working knowledge of employment law
- Strong influencing, coaching and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently at all levels
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with sound judgement
- High levels of resilience, initiative and accountability
- Experience using HR systems
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make effective decisions under pressure
