HR Lead – 12 Month FTC

We are partnering with a progressive organisation to recruit a HR Lead on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a key people function within a flexible, remote-first environment.
You will oversee the delivery and continuous improvement of core HR operations and transactional services, ensuring a high-quality, compliant and efficient people service.
Key responsibilities will include overseeing employee lifecycle changes, absence management, recruitment administration, payroll coordination and query management across People Services. You will act as the escalation point for more complex operational issues, whilst also managing and improving the HR system to drive efficiencies and support a seamless colleague experience.
You will work closely with Payroll, IT, PMO and Data teams to ensure strong system and data integrity, whilst monitoring performance trends and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. You will also lead and develop a People Operations team.
To be considered, you should be CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent) with previous experience within HR Operations or People Services. You will have strong knowledge of HR systems, workflows and process improvement, alongside proven team leadership experience and a solid understanding of employment compliance.
