Macmillan Davies is delighted to be partnering with a leading organisation in the industrial sector to recruit a HR Advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business where you will provide end-to-end HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
This role offers a particularly strong development opportunity for a HR Advisor with solid Employee Relations (ER) experience who is looking to broaden their exposure and take the next step in their career within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
About the role:
- Manage a wide range of employee relations cases, providing expert advice in line with UK employment law
- Lead on investigations, disciplinary and grievance hearings, and outcomes
- Build strong relationships with managers, coaching and developing their capability in handling people issues
- Support absence management, using HR data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Assist with recruitment activities including shortlisting, interview coordination, and onboarding
- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, escalating where appropriate
- Deliver efficient HR operational processes across the employee lifecycle, ensuring accuracy of records and systems
- Ensure ongoing compliance with UK employment legislation and internal policies
About you:
- An experienced HR generalist with a strong focus on Employee Relations
- Confident managing a variety of ER cases independently
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
- Able to influence and support managers effectively
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using data to inform decision-making
- An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
