Your Impact
As a trusted partner to Senior Operational Leaders, you’ll provide expert HR guidance, challenge and support to drive business performance through people. You’ll lead on cultural change, talent planning, engagement, and organisational effectiveness — ensuring our operations are fully equipped to deliver, especially during Peak.
Working closely with Shared Services, Resourcing, ER Consultants and central HR, you’ll act as the people lead across your region, influencing decisions and implementing initiatives that strengthen performance, engagement and retention.
Overview of the opportunity:
- Partner with Area Managers and Heads of to drive performance through strategic HR support
- Develop and deliver a People Plan aligned to the overall HR strategy
- Lead workforce planning and Peak people strategy to ensure operational readiness
- Coach and influence leaders on performance, conduct, engagement and development matters
- Drive talent, succession and retention initiatives across multiple sites
- Lead people elements of business change including restructures, TUPE and operational changes
Experience required:
- 3+ years’ HR Business Partner experience supporting senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
- Applies strategic thinking to translate business priorities into people initiatives that drives teams performance and capability
- Commercially astute with the ability to use data insights and KPIs to influence decision-making, inform strategic decisions, challenge assumptions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Experience and confident in leading organisational change and complex people initiatives
- Confident communicator with the ability to challenge, coach and influence at senior level
- Strong working knowledge of employment law
- Acts independently with sound judgement, managing responsibilities and complex HR issues with minimal oversight.
- Full UK driving licence (CIPD qualification or degree-level education desirable)
