We're partnering with a leading and well-established adult social care provider to recruit a Learning & Development Co-ordinator to support their growing Adult Services division.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator or co-ordinator who enjoys working with people, systems, and processes - and who wants to play a key role in ensuring high-quality, compliant care through effective learning and development.
Location & Package- Location: Wolverhampton
- Hours: 39 hours per week
- Salary: £23,000.50 - £26,000 per annum
The RoleAs Learning & Development Co-ordinator, you'll be at the heart of the client's training function within Adult Services. You'll support the delivery of mandatory and developmental training across multiple regions, ensuring staff have the learning they need to provide safe, high-quality care.
This is a varied and collaborative role that combines training coordination, compliance reporting, systems administration, and stakeholder support.
Key Responsibilities- Co-ordinate and schedule training sessions (face-to-face and virtual) using internal systems
- Liaise with managers, staff, and L&D colleagues to maximise attendance and minimise operational impact
- Maintain and share the L&D training calendar within agreed timeframes
- Track attendance and completion of all learning programmes
- Maintain accurate records on the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Produce training and compliance reports for managers, senior leaders, and regulators
- Support audits and inspections by supplying accurate training evidence
- Act as the first point of contact for training-related queries
- Provide end-to-end administrative support for internal and external trainers
- Support wider L&D initiatives such as apprenticeships, career pathways, and digital learning projects
- Contribute to continuous improvement of L&D processes and documentation
About YouEssential:- Previous experience in a co-ordination or administrative role
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident IT skills, including MS Office (experience of LMS systems is highly beneficial)
- An understanding of the importance of training in delivering safe, effective care
Desirable:- Experience within social care or a regulated environment
- Knowledge of CQC or regulatory training requirements
- Experience producing reports for senior stakeholders
- An interest in building a long-term career in Learning & Development
