HR Advisor (People Lead) | Hybrid - Barrow-in-Furness

Up to £32,000 + benefits Barrow-in-Furness (2-3 days onsite, rest remote) SC Eligible / Sole UK Nationals only

We're hiring a HR Advisor / People Lead to support the development of high-performing teams within a fast-paced, operational environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong HR generalist experience who enjoys working closely with managers and teams to drive performance, engagement, and capability.

The Role

As a key point of contact for people-related matters, you will:

Lead performance reviews, appraisals, and career development conversations
Support workforce planning and resource management
Manage employee relations issues and handle challenging conversations
Act as an escalation point for people and team-related concerns
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure teams are resourced and performing effectively

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as an HR Advisor / People Advisor / HR Generalist
Strong background in performance management, employee relations, and workforce planning
Experience supporting or leading multi-disciplinary teams
Excellent communication skills across technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership
Ability to balance people support with business needs
Exposure to IT / Infrastructure / End User Services environments (desirable)
Coaching or mentoring experience
