Overview
We are working with a fast-paced and growing food production business seeking an organised and detail-driven HR Administrator to support the HR function. This role is key to ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations within a manufacturing environment, maintaining compliance, and supporting employee lifecycle processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contracts, and offboarding
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy and GDPR compliance
- Support recruitment activities, including advertising roles, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new starters
- Assist with absence management processes, including logging sickness and producing reports
- Process HR documentation such as contracts, offer letters, and policy updates
- Support payroll by collating and submitting accurate monthly data
- Act as a first point of contact for HR queries from employees and managers
- Assist with training coordination and maintain training records
- Support HR projects and initiatives as required
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment legislation, particularly within a food production setting
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an HR administration role, ideally within manufacturing or food production
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Experience supporting payroll processes is beneficial
Qualifications
- **CIPD Level 3 (essential)
