Finishing / Site Manager – New Build Residential
Location: Oxford
Rate: Competitive DOE
Contract: Minimum 6-Month Contract
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Finishing / Site Manager to oversee the final stages of a new build residential development in Oxford.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all finishing trades, ensuring high-quality standards are achieved, coordinating subcontractors, and driving plots through to completion and handover.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-focused Site Manager with strong residential experience to join a busy project with an established contractor.
Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day finishing activities on site

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades

Ensure all plots are completed to a high standard

Oversee snagging and de-snagging works

Maintain site health & safety standards

Monitor programme deadlines and drive project completion

Conduct quality inspections and customer walkthroughs

Liaise with project managers, clients, and site teams

Ensure all works are completed in line with NHBC standards
Requirements
-
Proven experience as a Finishing Manager or Site Manager on new build residential projects

Strong eye for detail and quality control

Ability to manage multiple trades and tight deadlines
-
Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates

Strong communication and organisational skills

Experience working on volume housing developments preferred
