About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join our organisation on a fixed-term basis through to March 2028. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering HR services during a period of significant organisational change.
The Role
As HR Manager, you will lead the delivery of a comprehensive range of operational and advisory HR services. You will ensure people practices are effective, compliant, and aligned with organisational objectives.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, including the Employee Relations Manager, you will oversee core HR functions such as payroll, learning & development, and HR administration, providing leadership and direction to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HR operational processes, ensuring compliance, consistency, and best practice
- Act as the escalation point for the HR Administration team
- Partner with the Employee Relations Manager on complex and sensitive casework
- Provide expert advice on HR matters and employment law to managers and employees
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee payroll processes and learning & development activity
- Champion employee wellbeing and coordinate organisational initiatives
About You
- Proven experience in an HR Manager or senior generalist HR role
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or above)
- Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Credible and confident communicator, able to influence at all levels
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Experience using HR systems and data to inform decision-making
