Part-time HR Manager - £45,000-£48,000pa + bonus + benefits pro rata for part-time hours. TW18 Staines. Hybrid working. Parking on site or short walk from the mainline train station.
The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on HR Manager to join a growing business and play a key role in supporting managers, strengthening day-to-day and HR delivery.
You’ll balance business partnering with strong operational delivery, while bringing a forward thinking approach to how HR can work more effectively, including the use of systems, data and AI.
Job Responsibilities for the Part-time HR Manager.
- Owning and improving day-to-day HR operations, ensuring processes run smoothly and consistently
- Partnering with managers to provide practical, commercially focused HR support
- Supporting and guiding the HR Officer, helping prioritise workload and maintain high standards
- Managing the full employee life cycle and ensuring accurate, reliable HR systems and reporting
- Supporting L&D activity
- Contributing to HR projects
- Exploring smarter ways of working, using technology and AI to reduce admin, improve output and support better decision making
- Partnering and supporting Head of HR on culture and engagement projects and initiatives
- Improving reporting and using data to make informed decisions
About You - Part-time HR Manager Role
- Solid experience in a senior generalist HR role (Senior HR Advisor, Senior Business Partner or similar)
- Curious and forward thinking, with an interest in improving ways of working and using technology and AI well
- Clear, pragmatic communicator who keeps things simple and solutions focused
- Comfortable making decisions and working with a level of autonomy
- Confident working across operational HR and manager support
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working hands on and getting into the day to day
- Experience or interest in L&D
