An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior HR leader to join a large, prestigious organisation as a Head of HR Business Partnering.
This is a pivotal leadership role, partnering with executive and senior stakeholders to shape and deliver people strategies that support organisational objectives, workforce transformation and long-term success. Leading a team of HR Business Partners, you will play a key role in driving workforce planning, talent management, engagement, organisational development, inclusion and change initiatives across a diverse and complex environment.
Role requirements:
Working closely with senior leadership teams, you will:
- Develop and implement people strategies aligned to organisational priorities and long-term objectives.
- Act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders on complex people matters, organisational change and workforce planning.
- Lead initiatives focused on attraction, retention, succession planning and talent development.
- Use workforce data and HR analytics to identify trends, inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Champion equality, diversity and inclusion, ensuring inclusive practices are embedded across the organisation.
- Support large-scale organisational change programmes and transformation activity.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing HR Business Partnering team.
- Deliver strategic people projects and ensure successful implementation across the organisation.
- Build strong relationships across multiple stakeholder groups, influencing at senior and executive level.
Essential experience
We are seeking an accomplished HR professional with significant experience operating in a senior business partnering or people leadership role within a large and complex organisation ideally within the public sector.
- A CIPD qualification or equivalent senior HR experience
- A strong track record of developing and delivering successful people strategies.
- Experience of workforce planning, succession planning and talent management.
- Proven success in improving employee engagement, retention and organisational performance.
- Experience leading organisational change and transformation initiatives.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility at executive level.
