My client is a boutique HR Consultancy who are looking for an experienced HR professional to join their growing consultancy team. Could you be their new HR Training, Content & Projects Specialist?
This varied, client-facing role will combine management training delivery, HR content creation and project-based consultancy support. You'll work with SME clients, helping managers build confidence and capability through practical training, webinars, guidance and HR projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver management training programmes, workshops and webinars.
- Create practical HR content, templates, guidance notes and training materials.
- Support HR consultancy projects, including investigations, compliance reviews and management development initiatives.
- Deliver training remotely and on-site across Essex and surrounding areas.
- Monitor employment law developments and translate them into practical client guidance.
- Work with colleagues to identify client needs and promote training and project-based HR services.
- Support business development activity and attend occasional networking events.
About You
You will have strong generalist HR experience, good UK employment law knowledge, excellent drafting skills and confidence delivering training to managers and business owners.
Experience working with SME businesses is essential, and previous experience within an HR consultancy, outsourced HR or professional services environment would be an advantage.
You must be Essex-based, or within reasonable travelling distance, as some client delivery will be carried out in person.
This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, is commercially minded, communicates clearly and can turn HR knowledge into practical guidance and training that helps SME managers lead their teams more confidently and effectively.
Essential
- Strong generalist HR experience with sound UK employment law knowledge.
- Experience supporting managers with people management issues and HR processes.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation and communication skills.
- Strong drafting and content-writing ability.
- Experience working with SMEs or providing practical, proportionate HR support.
- Commercially aware, organised and self-motivated.
- Essex-based and able to travel to client sites when required.
Desirable
- Experience delivering training, workshops or webinars.
- HR consultancy, outsourced HR or professional services experience.
- Experience supporting investigations, audits or project-based HR work.
