Working closely with the Head and Senior Leadership Team, you will provide strategic leadership across all aspects of people management, organisational development, workforce planning, employee relations, and change management. The Opportunity
As Head of HR, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a people strategy that supports organisational growth, performance, and continuous improvement.
You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing expert guidance on workforce planning, organisational design, leadership development, employee engagement, and complex people matters. Combining strategic vision with operational excellence, you will ensure that HR is a proactive and influential partner across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a forward-looking HR and people strategy aligned with organisational priorities.
- Partner with senior leaders to support workforce planning, succession planning, organisational development, and change initiatives.
- Provide strategic advice on employment law, employee relations, and people risk management.
- Lead complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence, and restructuring cases.
- Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion, and organisational culture.
- Oversee recruitment and retention strategies, ensuring effective talent attraction and robust safeguarding practices.
- Lead the development and review of HR policies, procedures, and best practice frameworks.
- Use workforce data, insights, and metrics to inform strategic decision-making and improve organisational performance.
- Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring inclusive and equitable people practices.
- Lead and develop the HR team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

You will be an experienced HR leader with a proven track record of operating successfully in a senior strategic role.
You will bring:
- Significant experience leading both strategic and operational HR functions.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience managing organisational change, workforce planning, and cultural transformation initiatives.
- A successful track record of advising and influencing senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Expertise in handling complex employee relations matters with confidence and professionalism.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data and translate insights into action.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
