Are you a HR professional looking for a varied role dealing with day to-day HR operations as well as supporting HR data reporting?
We’re supporting a membership organisation to recruit an HR Systems Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative People team, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining HR systems, supporting data reporting as well as ensuring the smooth delivery of HR operations.
This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours per week. They offer a hybrid working policy. You will work 2 days per week in their office near Farringdon with the remainder of the week working from home.
Role
This is a varied position where you'll act as a key support across HR systems, processes, and reporting. You’ll be the first point of contact for HR queries while ensuring data accuracy and supporting payroll, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, changes, absence and leavers
- Acting as the first point of contact for HR system queries, responding to routine requests and escalating where needed
- Maintaining accurate employee records across HR systems, ensuring GDPR compliance
- Producing regular and ad-hoc HR reports, analysing data and identifying trends or anomalies
- Supporting monthly payroll processes, ensuring data accuracy and deadlines are met
- Assisting with internal and external audits, including statutory reporting requirements
- Monitoring and improving data quality across HR systems
- Supporting system and process improvements, including testing and documentation
- Assisting with L&D coordination, internal communications and general HR administration
- Tracking key data areas such as safeguarding and compliance reporting
About You
- Previous experience in an HR, HR systems, or data-focused HR role
- Experience working with HRIS or people systems
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret and present insights
- Good knowledge of GDPR and data handling principles
- Excel skills and confidence working with reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
