Your New Role
As Recruiter, you will play a key role in supporting the business with its recruitment activity across a range of manufacturing, engineering and office-based positions. Working closely with hiring managers, you will take ownership of sourcing suitable candidates, managing existing applications and ensuring a smooth recruitment process from initial enquiry through to interview coordination.
Your responsibilities will include advertising vacancies, proactively sourcing candidates through various recruitment channels, screening applications, conducting initial candidate conversations and maintaining regular communication throughout the hiring process. You will coordinate interviews, manage diaries, gather interview feedback and ensure candidates receive a professional and positive experience at every stage.
You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate recruitment records, updating the applicant tracking system, supporting offer management and onboarding activities, and building talent pipelines to support future recruitment needs. As part of a growing business, you will have the opportunity to suggest improvements to recruitment processes and contribute to attracting the best talent into the organisation.
Ensuring Your Success
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience within recruitment, talent acquisition or recruitment coordination, along with excellent organisational and communication skills. You will be confident managing multiple vacancies simultaneously, building strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers, and delivering a high-quality recruitment experience.
You will be proactive, adaptable and able to prioritise your workload in a fast-paced environment. Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards and Microsoft Office is desirable. Previous recruitment experience within manufacturing, engineering or technical environments would be advantageous, although candidates with strong in-house or agency recruitment experience from other sectors will also be considered.
In Return
In return, you will join a well-established and growing manufacturing business where you will play an integral role in supporting its continued growth. You'll benefit from a collaborative working environment, opportunities for professional development, and the chance to make a real impact on recruitment processes and talent acquisition. Alongside a competitive salary, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.
