This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in driving colleague performance, engagement and culture within a purpose-led organisation. You'll provide expert employee relations support, coach managers through people challenges and help embed a fair, consistent and high-performing workplace culture.
The RoleAs the People Advisory Lead, you will be a trusted partner to managers across the organisation, providing practical HR advice and managing a varied employee relations caseload.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and capability matters from start to finish.
- Advising and coaching managers to ensure best practice and consistent decision-making.
- Drafting HR correspondence including invitations, outcome letters and management guidance.
- Supporting the implementation of performance management initiatives and manager development resources.
- Building strong stakeholder relationships across operational teams.
- Supporting policy reviews and ensuring HR processes remain compliant and fit for purpose.
- Producing accurate case records, HR reporting and management information.
- Contributing to wider people projects, change initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
About YouMy client is looking for an HR professional who is confident, resilient and solutions-focused, with a genuine passion for supporting managers and employees.
You will bring:
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor, People Advisor or HR Generalist role.
- Strong employee relations experience, including managing disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence and capability cases.
- A sound understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- The ability to build credibility and influence managers at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
Desirable- CIPD Level 5 or above (or working towards).
- Experience within housing, care, social impact, construction or facilities management environments.
- Experience supporting organisational change, restructures or TUPE projects.
- Experience using HR information systems.
