Description
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers on employment law, company policies, procedures, and best practice across a broad range of employee relations matters.
- Manage and support complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance, capability, and flexible working matters.
- Lead and support organisational change initiatives, including restructures, redundancy consultations, redeployment processes, and TUPE transfers.
- Partner with managers to build people management capability, coaching and developing them to effectively manage performance, attendance, employee engagement, and workplace conflict.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, delivering pragmatic and commercially focused HR solutions.
- Ensure the accurate maintenance of HR records, case management systems, and management information, producing reports and insights to support business decisions.
- Identify potential people-related risks, provide constructive challenge where appropriate, and recommend practical solutions to support informed decision-making.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR policies, processes, and service delivery, promoting best practice and operational excellence.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the HR function, sharing knowledge and supporting wider departmental and organisational objectives.
- Promote compliance with Health & Safety requirements, company policies, and regulatory obligations, undertaking additional duties commensurate with the role as required.
Profile
- CIPD qualified, studying towards CIPD, or possess equivalent HR experience.
- Experience in a HR Advisor or generalist HR role with strong employee relations knowledge.
- Good understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
- Professional and confident when working with managers and stakeholders.
- Able to work independently, manage priorities and deliver practical HR solutions.
- Adaptable, resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders effectively.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

Job Offer
- Salary range: £29,000 - £33,000 per annum.
